Seminars and workshops on various topics are held periodically. The college has successfully organized several National, State-level and District-level Seminars and Workshops.
- A National-level seminar on ‘Panchayati Raj – Decentralization of Power’ was held successfully on 10th and 11th November, 2008 in the college under the sponsorship of UGC and North Eastern Council (NEC).
- Arrangements are afoot for holding another National Seminar on Commerce in October 2009.
A Yoga Workshop was held in January, 2008 under the guidance of Dr. Kavid Kashyap, a renowned yoga teacher of Patshala, Assam.
- A workshop on Mushroom Cultivation was held on 27.12.2008 under the aegis of Sub-divisional Officer of Agriculture, Margherita and SIRD, Duliajan.
- A talk named ‘Shipar Sandhanat – Antaranga Alap’ was organized by the Assamese Department of the college on 20.1.2009. The speakers were Sri Phanindra Kr. Debchoudhury, a noted litterateur and Dr. Pranoy Phukan, a renowned poet.
- A talk on “Indo-US Civil Nuclear Deal and its Effects”, delivered by Dr. Adil Ul Yasin, Professor, Dibrugarh University, was held on 23.12.2008 under the aegis of the Political Science Department of the college.
- Zoology department of the college organized a talk on “Prospects of Wildlife as Professional Career” on 21.2.2009. Dr. Christy Williams, Programme Coordinator of Asiatic Elephants and Rhinos of Asia, WWF and Dr. Kashmira Kakoty, a renowned primatologist delivered talks.
