8th March 2023:  Digboi College Women Welfare Cell (DCWWC), in association with IQAC, Digboi College, organised a free medical Health check-up camp, exclusively for the female students of the college, to mark the occasion of International Women’s Day, 2023. The camp was led by Dr. Swatilekha Karmakar, Obstetrician-Gynecologist at IOCL Hospital, Digboi and Dr. Suhashish Mukherjee, Medical Officer (OBGYN) at Digboi CHC. More than 60 students were prescribed medicines and consultations were offered following check-ups. Dr. Dip Saikia, Principal Digboi College spoke on the significance of the theme of IWD, 2023, #EmbraceEquity and inaugurated the camp. The inauguration session was anchored by Mamita Kalita, Asst. Prof., Dept of Botany and Joint Secy. DCWWC.
