28th February 2023: The Department of Physics in Association with the Digboi College Students Science Club celebrated the National Science Day 2023 with the Central theme “Global science for Global well being”. The program started with floral tributes to C.V.Raman. The Principal, Dr. Dip Saikia addressed the students on the significance of the day and the central theme. This was followed by an oral presentation competition and a poster presentation competition both of which were organised parallelly. A total of 20 papers were presented by the students.
The program concluded with prize distribution where the Vice Principal Dr. A.C. Dutta and Dr. Jaynata Handique, Co-ordinator, IQAC, Digboi College gave away the prizes.
