Admission Procedure

• Candidates aspiring for Admission into Digboi College are required to visit the college website digboicollege.edu.in and click the button Admission [Session] located at the top right corner and move to the admission portal. Admission Portal
• The candidate shall be required to select the required Programme and Stream from the drop down menu and provide all information asked in the Online Application Form.
• The applicant can save and review the information entered before submission, which can be edited on subsequent logins. However, after submission, editing of information shall not be possible.
• On submission of the Online Application Form by an applicant, an Acknowledgement Slip and an Application Form with Unique Applicant No shall be generated against each successful submission of the Application. The Candidate shall have to take a print out of both for future reference/verification.
• The Submission of Online Application Forms shall be automatically closed after the last date.
• Admission will be made according to the norms laid down by the Admission Committees on the basis of merit, government-prescribed reservation procedure, and availability of seats.
• The provisional selection list will be notified on the college website. The provisionally selected applicants will receive a message and link in the registered mobile number/ email/ registered account to confirm his/her admission.
• The provisionally selected applicants must submit Declaration and Undertaking duly signed by the candidate and his/her parent in the prescribed format (attached with the online admission form) to confirm his/her admission in his/her registered account in Online Admission Portal.
• Admission of the provisionally admitted students who misrepresent vital data in respect of their eligibility and admission and those who fail to produce original documents in due course (i.e., during normal class days) shall be canceled, and no prayer shall be entertained.

The following Documents in pdf/jpg format must be uploaded with the online Admission form:

1) Recent Passport size photograph of the student

2) Mark sheets of last examination passed

3) Pass certificate of last examination passed

4) Age proof certificate (Birth Certificate / Admit Card)

5) Migration certificate or Transfer certificate, if necessary

6) Caste certificate, if any

7) Gap period certificate, if necessary

8) Scanned signature of candidate and parent.
