Eligibility

Minimum eligible Criteria for admission into Honours Course

55% average marks in HS or equivalent (10+2) examination in Commerce Stream recognised by DU or 50% marks in HS or equivalent (10+2) examination in Arts/Science stream and 50% in Mathematics and/or Statistics + Marks obtained in the Entrance Exam conducted by the college.

Counseling for Admission and Selection of Honours

  • Applicants are provided pre-admission counseling by the faculties for admission into the various courses and selection of the Honours Programme.
  • Admission to Honours Programme is finalized by the respective departments based on performance in the HS Final examination and entrance test and/or other criteria of the concerned departments.

University Registration

  • Newly admitted students have to get registered in the University within one month or as per University academic calendar.
  • No change of course combination and switching between Programmes shall be allowed after University registration.

Admission on Transfer

Admission on transfer from another University is permissible if

  1. The student undergoes the same programme
  2. Course structure and nomenclature of courses are similar
  3. The transfer is within one month from admission
  4. All relevant documents are produced.

Attendance

Minimum mandatory attendance 80%
