Thank you for visiting the Department of Nepali virtually. The Department of Nepali started in the year 1969. Digboi is a very diverse station, and all the communities live here in harmony. The Nepali Department was established in order to help the native students and the community to enhance their literature, academic excellence and carry forward their cultural and moral values. C. J. Subedi is the first faculty of the department and worked till 12 June 1991. In 1975, D. K. Upadhaya joined and served till 1977. Anil Diwan joined the dept in 1981 and continued till 1988. Debi Charan Sedai joined the dept in 1990 and retired in Dec 2021.
