The department of Bengali has, since its inception in 1965. Welcome to the website of Bengali department of Digboi College. We Believe it is our duty to promote a value-based education through the literary knowledge of bengali humanistic literature and to contribute to the transformation of society by following the ideals laid down by grand Bengali writers Raja Rammohan Roy, Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar, Rabindranath Thakur, Michel Madhusudan Dutta, Kazi Nazrul Islam, Sukanta Bhattacharya, Sunil Gangopadhyay, Shankha Ghosh among others.
